Overview

Numerous masterminds in the software industry have great sympathies for dynamic languages such as Ruby (on Rails), Groovy, PHP or Python. Those languages make developing web applications much more effective than conventional, static languages. Corresponding the growth rate of these languages on the market is impressive. More and more companies rely on dynamic languages and frameworks for business relevant web applications.

Dynamic Languages World India is the first Indian conference dealing with the shared concepts and frameworks of all important dynamic languages. Though these languages differ in e.g. syntax and architecture the similarities prevail. Internationally renowned speakers explain the benefit of those languages to the attendees of Dynamic Languages World and try to encourage the usage of dynamic languages.

You can put together your own custom conference program, picking your favorites from the numerous sessions offered at DLW India 2008. To make your task easier, we have grouped the sessions into various technology tracks

Top of the line speakers from the industry will deliver the keynotes during the DLW India. These eminent decision-makers of the software and/or web industry will speak on major trends and present their vision for the future of Dynamic Languages.

Power Workshops

The full-day Power Workshops give attendees the opportunity to enhance their know-how on various topics. Adept speakers will share their knowledge and cover all aspects of the topic at hand.

Catering

Drinks and snacks are available during breaks between sessions on the main conference days and Power Workshop days. Additionally, attendees can enjoy an excellent lunch on all conference days booked.

Expo

The exhibition that accompanies the main conference is a platform to gather information on innovative products and solutions on display in the exhibition hall, to learn more about the businesses, and to establish relationships with the people behind them.

Download of Conference Material

Three weeks after the conference all attendees of the DLW India get the opportunity to download the complete conference material for their own usage, e.g. slides, examples & source codes.

Computer & internet access

Computers with free Internet access will be available in the exhibition area. Attendees bringing their own laptops may use Wireless LAN to go online.
